Calculator inputs
The FigurePath calculator plugin performs calculations in your browser. The figures you enter into the calculators are not submitted to FigurePath or stored in our WordPress database by the calculator plugin.
If a calculator offers a shareable link, that link may contain non-sensitive values you choose to include. Do not create or share links containing information you consider confidential.
Information our hosting may process
Our hosting and security systems may create server logs when you visit. These can include your IP address, browser type, requested pages, date and time, referring page, and technical error or security information. These logs are used to operate, protect and troubleshoot the website.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to understand how people find and use FigurePath. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser details, referral source, interactions and visit duration. Google may use cookies or similar technologies and may process IP address and device identifiers to provide the service.
Analytics information helps us improve calculators, guides, navigation and site performance. It is not used to read the figures you type into a calculator. Google acts as a service provider for this analytics processing and may process information outside the UK using applicable safeguards. When you first visit FigurePath, analytics storage is denied by default. Our consent banner lets you accept analytics or reject optional cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics is enabled; if you reject, analytics storage remains denied. You can reopen the choice at any time using the Cookie settings button. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Cookies
WordPress may use necessary cookies for administrators who sign in and may set a temporary cookie on the login page to check whether a browser accepts cookies. Google Analytics may set non-essential analytics cookies. Cookie duration and use may change as Google updates its service. You can clear or block cookies through your browser, although doing so may affect some website features.
If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your email. We use it to respond, investigate feedback or corrections, keep necessary records and protect the website. Do not send identity documents, bank statements, payslips, tenancy agreements, passwords or other sensitive records.
Advertising and affiliate services
FigurePath does not currently show display advertising or use affiliate tracking on its public pages. If these services are added, we will update this policy and introduce any additional consent choices required.
Sharing and international processing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help us host, secure, maintain, measure or communicate about the website, or disclosed where required by law. Some service providers may process information outside the UK and should provide appropriate safeguards where required.
Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose. Google Analytics data is retained according to the settings applied to our Analytics property. Technical logs and backups follow the retention settings of the relevant hosting and security services.
Your data protection rights
